The Giant and the Unicorn. A very good book. By Sophie Tasker

Once upon a time there was a little pony . She lived in a small home with her mother . One day she asked her mother if she could go to the woods ."Well okay but stay out of danger" said her mother so off she went.

While she was in the woods she thought she saw something. Then she looked up and saw the very top of what she thought was the top of a castle. She went closer and closer to the castle until she was right at the draw bridge of the castle. Slowly the draw bridge came down with an ekkkkkk.

She quickly hid in some bushes. Out came a giant. "Fe fi fo fum I smell some thing yum" said the giant. The giant looked around he did'nt see anything so he headed towards the village were the ponys mother lived. When the giant got to the village he started to stomp.

Since the giant was so big his stomp made earthquakes. "Ha ha ha "laughed the giant. Quickly the pony ran after the giant she tried to stand up to the giant "move" said the giant "no" said the pony but the giant did not listen.

The pony went back to the forest. "I wish I could do something" she said to herself. She thought and thought of a way to get ride of the giant. Soon it was nighttime and suddenly a star flew plonk in the front of the pony.

"hello" said the star "who are you" asked the very confused pony. "why I am mif muf the star of the forest and if you look up at the sky in the forest at night you will see that I am the brightest star in the whole forest" said the star.

"now" said the star". Who are you" "well" said the pony "I am pinky the pony" "and I am trying to get rid of the giant who happens to be destroying my home". "Hmmmm that seems like a big problem let me think" said the star "I got it" "I'll make you a deal, you help me get back in the sky before morning and I'll give you just one wish and only one" said the star softly. "Hmmmm okay just give me time to think" said the pony. "well any ideas" said the star "not yet" said the pony. So they both thought and thought until there heads were sore. "uhhu I know" said the star and she whispered her plan to the pony.

"well that sounds easy" said the pony. "well" said the star arent you going to get a ladder." "oh" said the pony "I nearly forgot" "just go" said the star "oh and go fast" "is that all" said the pony and with that she was off in a hurry. When she got to her house her mother was so pleased to see her "where have you been". said her mother "no time to explain mother I need a ladder" "in the shed on the right shelf. It will be hanging there" the pony quickly got it then left. She got back to the forest in time. "hop on my back and I'll take you up" she said so the star hopped on to the ponys back.

They climbed a very tall tree until they were right at the top. "Alright" said the pony" "jump on my head then take a deep breath and jump" said the pony. So the star hopped onto the ponys head took a deep breath and JUMPED!

Mif muf jumped so high that she stayed in the sky "thankyou pony" said the star. "now what would you like for your wish" she completely forgot about the giant and wished she could be something more. "well here we go" and with one shake of her wand the pony turned into a Unicorn
